Peter and The Wolf

In November of 2007, FESTA produced its first Main Stage play, "Peter and The Wolf" - featuring a new orchestration by Florentine composer and conducter, Daniele Del Lungo. 14 Florentine School Children played the parts of all the charavters, accompanied by the world class Childrens Choir, Vivi La Voce.

Peter was Narrarted in 2 languages, by Florence's own Alessandro Ricco, and Irish actress Louise Doris. On December 1st, we had 2 speacial guest artists; Leonardo Domenici, the Mayor of Florence, and Ms. Nora Dempsey, consulate general for the United States.

Since then, we have been invited to perform at the Palazzo Vecchio (the City Hall of Florence) - keep your eyes posted here for revivals of this show!

Italian Voices

FESTA is pleased and proud to invite you to the world premiere of Italian Voices! The show is adapted from the columns written in The Florentine (the local English language paper in Florence) exploring the life of the ex-pat in Italy through Italian idiom. It is essential watching for anyone wanting to understand the Italian psyche!
